Welcome to the Iranian Resistance's FirstClass communications system called "IranNCR". IranNCR is committed to providing information on the program, plans, positions and viewpoints of the National Council of Resistance of Iran. IranNCR will also serve as a communications platform with the offices of the NCR's President-elect, the NCR Secretariat and various NCR committees. Every Iranian compatriot and all those interested in Iranian affairs around the world now have the opportunity to subscribe to IranNCR.

IranNCR provides access to updated news and announcements about the Iranian Resistance movement in the following areas:

IranNCR subscribers include Mac and Windows users. If you have not yet done so, you can download a free copy of the FirstClass Client application for either platform from SoftArc's homepage on the World Wide Web (http://www.softarc.com).

English files on this system are in text format, appropriate for both platforms. Farsi documents will be in Adobe Acrobat's portable document format (PDF), the standard cross-platform viewer. You can download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader for either platform from Adobe's homepage on the World Wide Web (http://www.adobe.com).

You can view any PDF document with this viewer. However, to create PDF documents, as will be the case if you will be sending Farsi files to users of other platforms, you will need the Acrobat Pro package. This package includes Acrobat Exchange and Acrobat Distiller, both necessary for converting farsi files to PDF. You can purchase these applications from most any software mail-order company. The process of converting Farsi files to PDF is rather simple and intuitive. IranNCR will offer technical support to all users who may need help to get started.

Subscribing to IranNCR

When you first connect to IranNCR, you will automatically obtain a limited account that will expire in seven days. It is a complimentary offer by IranNCR to users to access valuable news and documents regarding Iran's current affairs and the Iranian resistance. We encourage you to register for a permanent account at IranNCR (REGISTRATION folder in IranNCR Info). With a permanent account you can send and receive electronic mail to NCR members, committee chairs and other users; participate in messaging conferences and chats. You will also be able to read and download all conference items and become eligible for specialized conferences and database access.

To become a registered subscriber all you have to do is to download the Subscription Application, fill it out and send it to Adminstrator the first time you connect to IranNCR. In a matter of 24 hours a userID and a tempora ry password will be sent to you.
