Two Iranian Stoned to Death, Three Hanged, Reuters, June 9 Jomhuri Eslami daily said a man and a woman, who were married to other people, were stoned to death in the northwestern city of Orumiyeh after a court found them guilty of adultery and murder.... Desperate Mullahs: Income with Donkey Exports, Reuters, June 10 TEHRAN - Iran, apparently seeking to reverse a fall in non-oil exports, has authorized the export of 30,000 donkeys. The daily Kayhan said on Monday the Commerce Ministry had issued a directive allowing the export of up to 30,000 donkeys. Iran's Non-oil exports plunged by some 25 percent to about $3.2 billion in the year that ended on March 19 due to tough foreign exchange regulations adopted by the government to protect the value of the rial currency.
