On Capitol Hill, the Saudi bombing prompted finger pointing toward Iran as a likely sponsor of the terrorism. "There is a desire on the part of some countries to destabilize the Saudi government and eventually take over the area, and we believe that Iran is in just that position," said Rep. Jim Saxton, R-N.J. Sen. John Warner, R-Va., said he had talked with defense intelligence officials and that he believes the bombing was the work of experts, "not some back garage type of manufacture by persons in that region."... Iran in Secret Chemical Weapons Deal with India, The Sunday Telegraph, June 23 Iran's campaign to develop its own chemical weapons arsenal is about to receive a massive help from a secret multi-million-pound deal whereby the Indian government will supply banned materials used to manufacture poison gas.... The deal was negotiated earlier this year on behalf of the Iranian regime by Melli Agrochemicals... But security experts believe the deal was authorized by Dr. Majid Tahrani Abbaspour, Iran's chief security advisor and a close associate of Rafsanjani. Mr. Abbaspour is closely involved with Iran's attempts to develop its own nuclear and chemical weapons arsenals.... Rafsanjani has ordered intelligence officials to increase terrorist attacks in mainland Europe. The terrorist offensive, authorized earlier this year by Iran's Supreme Council for National Security, is being masterminded from Iran's embassy in Bonne.... The international effort to counter the mullahs' terror campaign was bolstered at the end of last week when an estimated crowd of 25,000 attended a rally in London hosted by Maryam Rajavi, a leading opponent of Iran's Islamic regime.
