Mr. Rajavi welcomes Turkey's expulsion of Mullahs' diplomat-terrorists

Mr. Massoud Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, welcomed Turkey's expulsion of four diplomat-terrorists of the clerical regime, describing it a very necessary measure to counter the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran.

Mr. Rajavi added: The Iranian Resistance has repeatedly exposed the role of the regime's embassy and diplomatic missions in Turkey in assassinating members of the Resistance. He added: Today, there is no doubt that the Khomeini regime is not only responsible for murdering, kidnapping and torturing the Resistance's activists and Iranian refugees in Turkey, but that its exported terrorists have targeted many Turkish intellectuals, journalists and writers.

The NCR President called for the closure of the mullahs' diplomatic missions in Turkey and the prosecution and punishment of their diplomat-terrorists. He recalled that in the years past, the regime had taken maximum advantage of its diplomatic ties and missions in different countries to mastermind terrorist operations.

On February 20, Mrs. Zahra Rajabi, a member of the NCR, who was heading an Iranian Resistance's delegation to Turkey to address the appalling plight of Iranian refugees, was assassinated in Istanbul along with Mr. Ali Panah Moradi, a Mojahedin sympathizer, by terrorists dispatched from Tehran.

Previously, in June 1992, Mr. Ali Akbar Ghorbani, a Mojahedin member, was abducted by the mullahs' intelligence ministry agents and savagely tortured in a safe house near Istanbul. Local authorities found his mutilated body several months later.
