Mrs. Rajavi meets Head of Norway's Lower House of Parliament

This morning, Mr. Gunnar Skaug, the speaker of the Norwegian Lower House of Parliament, met and held talks with Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the Iranian Resistance's President-elect at the latter's place of residence in Oslo. While expressing pleasure at the meeting with Mrs. Rajavi, Mr. Skaug said: In the Norwegian Parliament, it is not only the ruling party, but all the political parties who support you and your Resistance for freedom and democracy in Iran.

Mrs. Rajavi referred to the mullahs' suppressive policies inside Iran and their export of terrorism and fundamentalism and said: The mullahs' regime is today no longer a problem for just the Iranian people. The regime poses a serious threat to the Islamic world and the civilized world as a whole. The world must take serious steps to support the Iranian Resistance and assist it in establishing democracy and freedom in Iran.

The Iranian Resistance's President-elect stated that the Iranian people and their Resistance movement are completely prepared to establish democracy and freedom in Iran. She stated that if the international community adopted a firm policy towards the mullahs' regime by cutting off trade and diplomatic ties with it and by supporting the Iranian Resistance, then the process for establishing democracy in Iran would be expedited.

Mr. Skaug said: You and your Resistance are truly in the same rank as Nelson Mandela and the National African Congress, and as such, you deserve the support of the international community in every respect. The Speaker of the Norwegian Lower House of Parliament wished the Iranian Resistance success in its struggle against the terrorist dictatorship of the mullahs.
