Rajavi: Mullahs use the Palestinian issue to cover up missile attack on Iraqi cities and Mojahedin camps

Commenting on the "Conference on Palestinian Intifada" in Tehran and the rhetoric by the clerical regime's leaders in the conference, Mr. Massoud Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said: "As far as the mullahs' regime is concerned, the call to hold this conference in Tehran is nothing but a maneuver and transparent posturing designed to cover up the firing of 77 surface-to-surface missiles on Iraqi cities and Mojahedin camps."

Mr. Rajavi added: "The mullahs' demagoguery is common knowledge. With the slogan of liberating Qods (Jerusalem) via Karbala, they only sought to export crisis to preserve their rule. Now, once again, the missiles are being launched at the people of Iraq and the Iranian Resistance. Hollow rhetoric and empty words are what Palestinians are getting out of this."

The NCR President emphasized: "The absence of Mr. Arafat and the Palestine Liberation Organization in the mullahs' 'show' is a clear testament to the fact that the mullahs are playing with the Palestinian problem for their own interests. Those to whom this issue relates are fully aware of the mullahs' tactics."
