ILO Commission puts mullahs' regime under scrutiny

Yesterday, the International Labor Organization put the mullahs' anti-human and anti-labor regime on is black list.

Citing a report by the Committee of Experts and the widespread abuse of the convention on prevention of discrimination on labor and employment by the Khomeini regime, the ILO's commission to investigate standards decided to include a paragraph concerning the situation in Iran in its final report.

Mr. Massoud Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance, congratulated Iranian workers and toilers on this important achievement. He stressed that the ILO's initiative unequivocally displayed the anti-labor nature of the medieval rulers of Iran.

The NCR President emphasized: The international community must employ all means at its disposal, including a trade and oil boycott, to punish the criminal regime ruling Iran for its widespread violations of the rights of all of Iran's people, especially women and workers.

During this year's session, a delegation representing the Iranian Resistance, attended the conference and provided the delegates with undeniable documents on the flagrant abuse of the rights of Iranian workers and discrimination against women.

Frequent reports say that every year, thousands of workers suffer serious injuries or due to the lack of unemployment insurance, are deprived of the minimum medical provisions once they leave work.

Last year, hundreds of strikes and protests by blue and white-collar workers erupted across the country. They were brutally suppressed by the regime and hundreds of workers were arrested and imprisoned. Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran - Paris
