Death decree: Mullahs' trump card

Jomhouri Islami daily which is associated with Ali Khamenei, the leader of the mullahs' regime, once again put an end to all forms of illusion about the mullahs' flexibility towards the murder of the British author, Salman Rushdie.

The newspaper stipulated that aside from the maneuverings of the regime's Foreign Ministry, every Muslim is duty-bound to carry out the decree for Rushdie's murder. "Rushdie must not have peace. He must be pursued until his death," the newspaper wrote.

The European Union's repeated requests for a written guarantee not to send any terrorists to Europe to murder Salman Rushdie have not been accorded by the Khomeini regime. Now, the comment published by Jomhouri Islami shed more light on the effect of such bargaining talks in emboldening the mullahs to continue their atrocities in Iran and abroad. In fact, any other expectation from the gang of terrorists and criminals who rule Iran is futile.

After seven years of talks, the mullahs' regime has used the death decree as a trump card for blackmailing the European countries. The time has come for Europe to impose trade sanctions against the mullahs' regime, and recognize the Iranian people's irrefutable right to resist against this religious fascism and establish democracy in their homeland.
