N. Korea must withdraw from cooperation in suppressing Iranian people

The Khomeini regime's news agency announced that in the course of the trip of the North Korean Deputy Minister of Security to Iran, a cooperation pact was signed between the two governments.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran strongly condemns such agreements, as they only serve stepped up repression, further executions, and torture and massacre of the Iranian people. The NCR urges the government of North Korea to immediately withdraw from the pact.

The announcement is made only a few days after the U.N. Human Rights Commission's Special Representative reported that the condition of human rights has deteriorated in Iran, with the number of domestic executions increased and the political assassinations escalated abroad.

Engulfed by irremediable economic and political crises, and incapable of confronting growing social discontent, the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran is nearing its final overthrow by the Iranian people and Resistance. Any trade with and investment in the future of this regime is doomed to fail and will reap nothing but loss.
