Iranian Resistance calls on BNP to cancel granting credits to terrorist mullahs

The National Council of Resistance of Iran condemns the French National Bank (BNP's) signing of a $500 mil. export financing accord with the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship. The NCR considers this measure as contrary to the interests of the Iranian people and demands immediate cancellation of the agreement.

The measure by Banque Nationale de Paris comes only a week after the European Parliament strongly condemned repeated violations of human rights in Iran and the regime's terrorist attacks against the Iranian Resistance. The EP called on member states to increase diplomatic pressure on the mullahs and discuss their critical dialogue policy on the Iranian regime with the European Parliament, as the mullahs continue to increase the bounty for the murder of Salman Rushdie.

Helping the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship not only runs counter to the highest interests of the Iranian people and will further encourage the mullahs in their domestic suppression and export of terrorism abroad, but is blatantly against the vote and decisions of the representatives of the people of Europe.

The Iranian people and Resistance are preparing for the overthrow of this regime and replacing it with a democratic government. The only factor aiding the survival of this medieval dictatorship and adding to the suffering and agony of the Iranian people, has been the economic and political support given to the regime by some western countries.

All the financial resources of this regime are spent either on domestic suppression, arms procurement, export of terrorism and fundamentalism, and nuclear ambitions, or are plundered by the mullahs. Not a single dollar is devoted to the well-being and economic progress of the Iranian people.
