Maryam Rajavi calls on Iranian people to rush to aid quake victims

In a message on the earthquake in Ardebil, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the Iranian Resistance's President-elect, extended her sincere condolences to the people of that city. She called on the nation to rush to the aid of the victims of this national disaster, sending their donations directly or through trusted individuals and away from the access and intervention of the agents of the mullah regime who only plunder the people.

Mrs. Rajavi said: Unfortunately, poverty and the mud housings, which are direct consequences of the oppression of the mullahs, have added to the dimensions of destruction and the number of victims exceeds thousands of deaths and tens of thousands of injured and homeless. Worse is the behavior of the regime's Guards who in these circumstances continue their suppression and tightly control the situation in the quake stricken areas.

She asked those families who afford to care for the orphaned children and take them to the warmth of their own homes and families.

The Iranian Resistance's President-elect concluded her message by saying: With resistance and national solidarity, we will eliminate all the difficulties and their main source, the evil mullahs' regime, and replace all the destruction and destitution caused by this anti-human regime with freedom and prosperity.
