Iranian Resistance Leader condemned Total's contract with Khomeini regime

Mr. Massoud Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance, strongly condemned Total's signing of a contract with the anti-human Khomeini regime. He said the contract was against the highest interests of the people of Iran and encouraged Iran's ruling theocracy to continue its flagrant violations of human rights and export of terrorism and fundamentalism.

Mr. Rajavi added: Khatami's presidency and the triumviral leadership in the regime have escalated the clerics' infighting to an unprecedented level and popular support for the National Liberation Army and the nationwide Resistance has become more extensive every day. Under such circumstances, dealing with the mullahs' medieval dictatorship will reap nothing but loss and will get nowhere.

Mr. Rajavi urged the government of France and other western countries to forego such dealings with the mullahs' regime as they are a black spot in the history of relations with the people of Iran. He emphasized: The time has come to identify Iran with the Iranian people and their Resistance.
