Mullahs' terrorists assassinate five members of Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran

Yesterday morning, simultaneous with the summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference in Tehran, terrorists dispatched by the mullahs' regime assassinated five members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran near the cities of Doukan and Kouysanjeq in Iraqi Kurdistan.

These killings bring to 24 the number of Iranian dissidents assassinated in Iraqi territory since Mohammad Khatami took office as President.

Mr. Massoud Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, called on the international community to condemn these criminal assassinations and the free rein the mullahs' Guards Corps and Intelligence Ministry agents enjoy in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Mr. Rajavi added: The time has come for the United Nations Security Council to impose political and trade sanctions on the criminal regime in Iran to prevent them from taking advantage of the silence and inaction of the international community to continue suppression and terrorism.

The NCR President stressed: The simultaneity of these assassinations with the Islamic Conference summit demonstrates that terrorism is indispensable to this religious, terrorist dictatorship. Terrorism, Mr. Rajavi said, will leave this part of the world only after this regime is overthrown.

In two letters to the heads of Islamic states, Mr. Rajavi had called on them not to take part in the Tehran summit because the mullahs would use the summit to legitimize repression at home and export of terrorism beyond Iran's borders.
