Iranian Resistance condemns German delegation's visit to Iran

Ms. Zohreh Akhyani, representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in Germany, strongly condemned the visit to Tehran by a high-level German Foreign Ministry delegation.

Ms. Akhyani said: These exchanges will only embolden the clerical regime to continue its atrocities against the Iranian people and enmity to peace and tranquillity in the region. She called on human rights advocates and organizations in Germany to oppose the expansion of relations with Iran's ruling theocracy.

The German delegation visit to Iran comes a year after a Berlin court ruling implicating the clerical regime's highest officials for direct involvement in terrorism and assassination of Iranian dissidents. The regime's behavior has not changed since. The UN Human Rights Commission condemned last week the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship for export of terrorism and flagrant human rights violations, including stoning, torture and amputation of limbs.
