Iranian Resistance strongly condemns trip to Tehran by Giscard d'Estaing

The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the trip to Tehran by Valery Giscard d'Estaing. Shaking hands with the leaders of this criminal regime, condemned in 42 UN resolutions for flagrant human rights violations and export of terrorism, will only embolden the ruling mullahs to continue their suppression and export of terrorism and to legitimize its crimes against the Iranian people.

This anti-human regime is grabbing at straws amid irremediable political, economic and social crisis. The Iranian people in different cities are tolling the ruling dictatorship's death knells through their chants of "death to Khamenei, death to Khatami."

No amount of flexibility toward, and concessions to, the ruling theocracy can save the mullahs from their inevitable overthrow at the hands of the Iranian people and Resistance. On the contrary, such policies adversely affect future relations between the Iranian people and countries which pursue this approach.
