Maryam Rajavi congratulates Christmas and New Year to all Christians
-In post-mullahs Iran, all forms of religious discrimination will be abolished

The Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi congratulated Iran's Christians on the birth of Jesus Christ, the messenger of peace and friendship, and the advent of the New Year.

Paying tribute to all Christians slain in the course of the struggle against the mullahs, the true embodiment of Pharisees, Mrs. Rajavi called on those Iranians who follow Jesus Christ to aid or join the National Liberation Army of Iran as it strives to liberate the Iranian people and nation.

The Iranian Resistance's President-elect pointed to the clerical regime's abysmal record in violating the most basic rights of the Iranian people, adding: Not only are followers of different religions and denominations deprived of the right to freedom of religion and belief, but also face various forms of barbaric tortures and assassinations. In recent years, a significant number of Christian leaders have been abducted by the regime and savagely murdered.

Reffering to articles of the plan adopted by the NCR on the relations of the future provisional government with religion and denomination which emphasizes the abolishment of any form of religious discrimination, Mrs. Rajavi said: After the mullahs are overthrown in Iran, all forms of discrimination against the followers of various religions and denominations in the enjoyment of their individual and social rights will be prohibited. No citizen shall enjoy any privileges or be subject ot any deprivations for the reason of belief or non-belief in a particular regligion or denomination.
