Statement by NCR's Foreign Affairs Committee
Quoting Swedish Foreign Minister, clerical regime disseminates blatant lies against Mojahedin

On April 30, the clerical regime's state run television cited the mullahs' deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and Central America, Morteza Sarmadi, saying that the Foreign Minister of Sweden had sent a letter to Kamal Kharrazi, the regime's Foreign Minister, condemning the operation by Mojahedin military units inside Iran which punished Ali Sayyad Shirazi.

Subsequent inquiries by NCR's Foreign Affairs Committee revealed, however, that this report is absolutely false and that the Swedish Foreign Minister had sent no letter to the clerical regime's Foreign Minister, condemning the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran or the military operation to punish Sayyad Shirazi.

In reply to repeated appeals by the Tehran regime, Sweden's Foreign Minister had simply written a letter to Kharrazi, condemning terrorism in general. She had made no reference to the Mojahedin and the Iranian Resistance whatsoever.
