- Units of 21st and 84th divisions in Ilam pounded with mortars Oil pipelines in Dehloran blown up

In response to the clerical regime's launching of 77 surface-to-surface missiles at camps of the National Liberation Army of Iran on April 18, Mojahedin operational units in Ilam Province carried out six operations earlier this morning, the Mojahedin Command inside Iran reported.

In these operations, code-named Operations Roaring Lion, Nos. 5-10, enemy forces suffered heavy casualties and damages.

Hours earlier, Mojahedin operational units in Kermanshah had attacked the regime's military centers in that province.

1. At 4:30 am, the HQ of the 21st Division's 144th Battalion north of Saleh-Abad in Ilam Province was pounded with a heavy barrage of 120 mm mortars. Heavy casualties and damages were inflicted on enemy forces.

2. At the same time, positions of 21st Division's 2nd Brigade in Sarney, Ilam, were hit with a barrage of 120-mm mortars.

3. Patrol and ambush positions of the enemy's intelligence and security forces in Saleh-Abad in Ilam were hit with 60-mm mortars and a number of enemy forces were killed or wounded.

4. At 3:30 am, Mojahedin operational units pounded the forces of 84th Division's 1st Brigade in Maymeh with 12 rounds of 81-mm mortars.

5. At the same time, the 84th Division's 749th Special Commando Battalion in Dehloran was hit with 107-mm multiple rocket launchers.

6. At 6:00 am, Mojahedin operational units in Ilam blew up oil pipelines in Dehloran region.
