Mullahs' terrorists attack a defensive position of NLA's Zahra Rajabi base

Using RPG rocket launchers, PKS heavy machine guns and AK-47's, a group of terrorists dispatched by the mullahs' regime attacked a defensive position of National Liberation Army's Zahra Rajabi base near the Iraqi city of Kut, at 2:00 a.m. Friday, May 7.

An Iraqi civilian was killed and two were wounded in the attack. The terrorists, who fled when the NLA combatants returned fire, abducted another Iraqi civilian.

The terrorists had crossed the international borders, driving in several vehicles via the Jassan-Kut highway, to reach this defensive position, 50 km from the Iran-Iraq border. They used the same route to return to Iran.

The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran calls on the United Nations Secretary General, the Security Council and international human rights organizations to condemn this act of aggression, which is a blatant violation of Security Council Resolution 598.
